Dr. Andrea Minesaki, NMD Specializing in Functional Pain Management

Dr. Andrea Minesaki, Naturopathic Medical Doctor

Andrea Minesaki, NMD, brings considerable experience in regenerative and integrative medicine to the Phoenix Metropolitan areas in Arizona, serving Maricopa County, including the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Mesa and Gilbert. She welcomes men, women, and families seeking improved health and vitality

Dr. Minesaki’s passion is founded in helping her patients live their best life ever.  She believes that optimal health, happiness and vitality are achieved when a patient is given support to enhance their confidence inside and out.  Recognizing the strong connection between physical and emotional well-being, she places emphasis in the importance of self-care and helps patients prioritize self-care by addressing the many dimensions of mind, body and soul.

After finding personal relief from chronic back pain with regenerative injection treatments, Dr. Minesaki was inspired to help others become pain free.  Since then, she has shifted her practice as a general practitioner to be more focused as a specialist in the field of regenerative medicine.  She uses a variety of tools that harness the power of the body’s innate ability to orchestrate and reignite the regenerative healing process.  She believes that the foundation of optimized health and function requires a holistic approach, rooted in the core principles of naturopathic medicine.  She weaves this foundation into the care of all patients and all procedures because the body can only excel when given the right foundation to build upon.

Her interest and offerings include regenerative injection therapies for acute and chronic pain, regenerative aesthetics for hair and skin, as well as male and female sexual health. She also has advanced training in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), IV nutrient and oxygen therapy, peptide therapy and hyperbaric oxygen treatments.

Dr. Minesaki stays at the forefront of these modalities by receiving continual training and certification in her areas of speciality, including prolotherapy, ozone and UBI therapy, IV therapy and peptide therapy. She is also a member of Seeds Scientific Research and Performance.

Dr. Minesaki began her professional pursuits at Arizona State University in Tempe, where she earned her Bachelor of Science, undergraduate degree in exercise and wellness, summa cum laude. She subsequently enrolled at the accredited Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree.

Following graduation, Dr. Minesaki provided medical care in a conventional urgent care practice and internal medicine family practice, where she saw first-hand the often frustrating path patients had to follow to find solutions to their health concerns.

As a naturopathic doctor, she aims to listen to the patient and their symptoms as a path to uncovering and treating the root cause of imbalance.  She enjoys developing a relationship with her patients and creates custom care plans based on each individual’s health history and goals for treatment, integrating the training she received in the conventional medical paradigm when it’s appropriate and in the best interest of the patient.

Dr. Minesaki’s first love is her family. In her free time you can find her having fun and treasuring time with her husband and five children. Together they love participating in rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, yoga and most any healthy outdoor activity that promotes family wellness and increases the connection to the natural world.
